Rum BA Imperial Stout with Malted Milk Balls
We dedicate our most recent barrel aged release to the cat, the myth, the legend: Fat Tony. He joined our crew on opening day and we’ve been waiting for the perfect beer release to honor him and his fat, fuzzy belly. His namesake started as an absurd Imperial Stout which had been resting in Dominican Rum barrels for the last 13 months. We then aged it on the best malted milk balls in the world and a mound of toasted coconut. These malted milk balls are made by Briess Malting in Wisconsin, one of our amazing specialty malt suppliers (Briess malts were used to brew Fat Tony). The result is so wonderful it’s hard to put in words. Chocolatey, malty, coconut goodness!
