The Stonecloud Brewing Sales Representative will work closely with the OK distributor networks, primarily focusing on the following: driving Stonecloud’s brand visibility in the market, increasing sales and distribution in on and off-premise accounts (including chains), and educating retailers and distributor personnel about Stonecloud’s brands.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • Achieve annual volume goals by growing retail relationships, points of distribution, retail programming and rate of sale across the Stonecloud portfolio of beers and seltzers
  • Work with local distributor representatives to communicate and execute Stonecloud sales
  • Maintain consistent market visitation schedule to on-premise, off-premise, chain and independent accounts
  • Identify and execute local marketing opportunities, retail partner promotions, and sampling events
  • Assist & provide input on distributor sales meetings/calls
  • Assist with presentation material introducing new and “limited release” beers, and driving knowledge and education about Stonecloud’s brands

Relationships/Business Building:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with current and targeted retailer account staff
  • Develop and maintain relationships with distributor reps & sales managers through in-market support and Stonecloud brand education

Product Knowledge/Education:

  • Base understanding of similarities and differences across Grocery, Supercenter, C-Store, and on-premise classes of trade
  • Execute effective staff education sessions in on & off premise accounts, including product samplings
  • Educate distributor sales teams on Stonecloud products
  • Understand and communicate beer and seltzer segment market trends

Special Events/Activities:

  • Execute on & off premise promotions in current and targeted accounts with the goal of generating brand awareness, consumer sampling, and support chain distribution and programming when applicable
  • Support targeted festivals and special events throughout the market when applicable

Quality Assurance:

  • Work with distributors to ensure Stonecloud’s product quality standards are being adhered to
    in retail accounts
  • Monitor OOS and out of rotation product; follow up with key distributor personnel to take corrective action as needed


  • Complete necessary weekly administrative reporting and communications in a timely fashion as prescribed by Stonecloud’s Sales Director

Other duties: as periodically assigned by your manager

Preferred Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or some college experience
  • Alcoholic beverage sales: 2 years minimum
  • Knowledge of National and Oklahoma craft beer industry and trends
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills; ability to be proactive, take initiative, work autonomously, and be highly self-motivated
  • Excellent organization and coordination skills; ability to manage priorities and routine functions effectively and efficiently
  • Willingness to learn, grow and be coachable
  • Must be an energetic and competitive person, who is passionate about a career in sales & craft beer
  • Active listening skills: understanding that goals are best accomplished by listening to, and filling, customer needs
  • As position requires driving to and from distributorships and retail accounts over a large geographic territory, incumbent must have the following:
    • A valid Driver’s License
    • A good driving record
  • Valid ABLE license required or must be obtained pending an offer of employment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Salary, plus bonus pay structure (Salary based on industry standards and experience). Phone reimbursement included.
