Red Rye Sour
Pours an opaque, dark mulberry and overwhelms the nose with fruit, oak, and red wine. You can pick out specific notes of strawberry, merlot grape, dried cherries, red apple, and unripened apricot. All these wonderful smells are cradled by a thick rye maltiness that make this ale as peppy as a 19th Century bare-knuckle boxer.
